No time to talk

Hey everyone. I'm still alive. Kyrgyzstan is amazing. I'm having an awesome time, but I don't have the internet time to elaborate. I will try to post pics, but I've been insanely busy, so be patient. Hope everyone is well.

6 Days and Counting

Hey Everyone! I've got just six days left before I leave sunny San Diego for not so sunny Kyrgyzstan. I still have a million little things to do but I've been spending most of my time trying to get this site to work. Hopefully I'll be able to update with stories and pictures while I'm away.

I leave on the 14th for Philadelphia, where all of the volunteers will have two days of training. After that we fly to Istanbul and should have a few hours to sightsee before we push on for the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek. Our first three months will be spent in the capital where we will learn the language and customs of our new home and will be taught how to be teachers. After training we'll move on to our new homes out in the country. No idea yet exactly where I'll end up or what the conditions will be like. It should be an adventure. I'll keep everyone up to date.
